The following instructions are only for users of Adobe Fetch. The export file does not work with the Adobe Fetch Browser. The Fetch Export file is ready for Import into your cumulative catalog.
IF YOU ARE CREATING A NEW CATALOG:
1. Start Fetch, then close any open catalog.
2. Choose NEW under the FILE menu.
3. Name the catalog and click SAVE.
4. Choose IMPORT under the ADMIN menu.
5. Click CONTINUE.
6. Insert the Electronic Clipper CD.
7. Double click on the Adobe Fetch 1.2 Browser folder.
8. Double click the file called EC 1997 Export File.
Fetch will now create a catalog containing the thumbnails, keywords, and descriptions for that issue. When you receive your shipment each year, you will want to update your catalog with that issue's thumbnails, keywords, and descriptions.
IF YOU ARE UPDATING AN EXISTING CATALOG:
1. Open your catalog.
2. Choose IMPORT under the ADMIN menu.
3. Click CONTINUE.
4. Insert the Electronic Clipper CD.
5. Double click on the Adobe Fetch 1.2 Browser folder.
6. Double click the file called EC 1997 Export File.
